Job Description

In this role, you will help shape the next generation of large power transformers and shunt reactors used across the global power grid. As part of an experienced engineering team, you will create, modify, and study electrical designs that support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of grid-critical equipment. Working on assignments of medium to high complexity, you will turn design concepts into manufacturable and constructible solutions, ensuring that your work supports project priorities, performance expectations, and delivery commitments. You will collaborate closely with engineering, supply chain, production, and project management teams, contributing to the development of high-quality, innovative products that keep customers ahead of evolving technical and market demands. This work exposes you to sophisticated engineering practices, hazard-identification methods, material evaluations, cost-reduction opportunities, and design reviews that directly influence manufacturing, fabrication, and construction outcomes. As you grow in the role, you will gain exposure to advanced power-equipment technologies while sharing your knowledge within the wider engineering community.

Responsibilities
