Job summary

Cencora is seeking an experienced pharmacy operations leader in Canada to drive performance against targets and coordinate cross-functional work with pharmacists, technicians, operations and technology partners. This role emphasizes improving cycle times, accuracy, service levels and reducing rework while ensuring consistent delivery standards.

You will implement approved process and tool changes, validate outcomes with metrics, and guide onboarding, training, and performance feedback to sustain

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, pharmaceutical sciences, health administration, operations management, business, or a related field is required.
• 5+ years of experience in pharmacy operations, fulfillment, or pharmacy project coordination, or a related field is required.
• 2+ years of experience in a management capacity is required.
• Certification in professional project management, pharmacist, pharmacy technician registration or licensure, or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages performance against targets (cycle time, accuracy, service levels, rework), reassigns work, and resolves issues within defined guidelines.
• Aligns cross-functional handoffs with pharmacists, technicians, operations, and technology partners to ensure continuity and adherence to service expectations.
• Implements approved process and tool changes, validates outcomes using defined metrics, and documents improvements for local standardization.
• Guides team capability through onboarding, cross‑training, schedule adherence, and performance feedback to sustain delivery quality.
• Controls project execution routines including scope tracking, risk identification, dependency management, and change control for small to moderate initiatives.
• Communicates status, risks, and performance insights, providing structured updates and recommendations to stakeholders.

Education

Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, pharmaceutical sciences, health administration, operations management, business, or a related field

5+ years of experience in pharmacy operations, fulfillment, or pharmacy project coordination, or a related field

2+ years of experience in a management capacity
