Working in partnership with operations leaders, the Manager supports the annual budgeting cycle, variance analysis, root‑cause analysis and action planning to drive performance against measurable targets. Accountability

    • Define, standardize, and govern enterprise and lines of business (LoB) level operational KPIs, ensuring clarity, comparability, and alignment to organizational goals.
    • Design and maintain KPI cascades across LoBs to support performance visibility at executive and operational levels.
    • Lead regular performance reviews, enabling leaders to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
    • Monitor performance outcomes, identify root causes of variance, and support corrective action planning.
  • Financial Performance & Variance Management:
    • Partner with Finance and LoBs to support operational budgeting, financial performance monitoring, and variance analysis.
    • Enable consistent financial reporting frameworks that link operational drivers to financial outcomes.
    • Support leaders in understanding financial performance drivers, risks, and trade‑offs while maintaining financial discipline and transparency.

    • Ensure consistency in reporting language, definitions, and interpretation across the enterprise.
  • Data & Reporting Enablement:
    • Translate business performance needs into data and reporting requirements in partnership with Data Science and Business Intelligence teams.
    • Ensure reporting products deliver actionable insights, usability, and confidence in data quality.
    • Critically assess data assumptions, limitations, and quality to ensure appropriate interpretation and decision‑making.
  • Issue Escalation, Resolution & Governance
    • Define escalation paths, thresholds, and governance mechanisms for performance and financial risks.
    • Track critical issues to resolution, ensuring accountability across stakeholders without direct authority.

  • PMP, PgMP, or Prosci certification considered an asset.
Additional Skills / Core Capabilities

  • Proven ability to deliver clear, executive‑ready performance and financial reporting and insights.
  • Advanced data analysis, interpretation, and data quality assessment skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and drive alignment across cross‑functional, matrixed environments.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to adapt approaches to different audiences.
  • Strong partnership capability with Finance, Operations, and Data & BI teams.
  • Experience using Power BI or comparable enterprise reporting tools. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • High degree of analytical rigor, clarity, and standardization discipline.
