What you bring to the team
Leadership Experience
  • Proven leadership experience coaching, mentoring, and developing staff to deliver results
  • Demonstrated ability to foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team culture
  • Knowledge of HR policies, practices, directives, and collective agreements to support workforce management and employee development
  • Experience implementing government policy, preferably, regulatory policy, by working with an arm's-length agency
Strategic Thinking and Analytical Skills
  • Strong analytical skills to assess complex issues, synthesize information and data, and develop strategic recommendations
  • Knowledge of regulatory policy and operations and proven ability to work with regulated entities through influence and collaboration
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify broader implications and align regulatory actions with organizational priorities
Business Planning and Operational Expertise
  • Knowledge of business planning, operational planning, performance measurement, and service delivery frameworks
  • Experience leading the development, implementation, and evaluation of business and operational plans
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and resources while delivering high-quality results
Communication and Relationship Management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the preparation of briefings, presentations, reports, and correspondence
  • Proven ability to provide concise, strategic advice to senior leaders and stakeholders
  • Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to build partnerships and influence outcomes
