We are seeking applications from collaborative, service-oriented, and safety‑focused leaders committed to providing safe, dependable, and cost‑effective student transportation services for a temporary one‑year contract with an end date of June 30, 2027. Reporting to the Director of Facilities & Transportation, the Manager of Transportation provides strategic and operational leadership for the district’s Transportation Department. This role oversees student transportation services, fleet operations, route planning, regulatory compliance, and a diverse unionized workforce, while supporting continuous improvement through data‑informed planning and effective stewardship of district resources.
Salary Range: $98,831 to $123,539. Total rewards package includes competitive salary, benefits, pension and professional development opportunities.
You are a collaborative, solutions‑focused leader with strong operational judgment, excellent communication skills, and a demonstrated commitment to student safety, customer service, and continuous improvement. You bring experience leading multidisciplinary teams in a complex, unionized environment and are comfortable balancing route planning, fleet management, budgeting, compliance, emergency response, and stakeholder relationships.
