Job summary

RBC seeks a Senior Supplier Management Analyst in Toronto to deliver insights for CPT. You will manage BAU supplier delivery, track spend, and support AI savings validation.

You will build and maintain Tableau dashboards, provide monthly and executive reporting, and ensure alignment between commitments, invoicing and accruals. Strong analytics and Planview/MIS experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of supplier management, financial tracking and executive reporting.
  • Experience with AI tools and automation for process improvement.
  • Strong Excel/PowerPoint skills and SQL familiarity.

Responsibilities

Job Description
WHAT IS THIS OPPORTUNITY?

This role reports to the Strategy, Risk, Business Operations and Shared Services (SRBOSS) group within Commercial Banking and Payments Technology (CPT). As part of this team, you will be a key player in helping deliver insights to the larger CPT teams and business stakeholders by providing on-going input into process and reporting insights.

This role manages BAU supplier delivery, tracks spend against Professional Fees and budgets, supports AI savings validation, and ensures alignment between commitments, recovery, invoice payment, and accrual.

This role enhances CPT supplier management reporting by re-engineering and automating processes through the creation and enhancement of Tableau dashboards.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
  • Support all BAU supplier delivery activities including work authorization processing, SOW amendments, milestone trackers, contract reconciliation to T&O MIS/Planview systems, contractor headcount tracking, and AI savings validation.
  • Assist in aligning commitments to recovery and invoice payment by resolving financial issues and conflicts regarding contracts, work authorizations, and RFPs.
  • Maintain current tableau reporting and build new dashboards as appropriate to support supplier management analytics.
  • Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual supplier reporting and executive level insights to CPT leadership.
  • Provide input into supplier management content on the SRBOSS Connect and SharePoint sites.
  • Looks for opportunities to streamline, simplify and automate Supplier Management Business Operations Processes and Reporting.
WHAT WILL YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
Must Have:
  • 5+ years Supplier Management, financial tracking, and executive reporting.
  • Demonstrated experience with AI tools & platforms and process re-engineering and automation.
  • Excellent proficiency with MS Office Programs (Power Point, Excel, Outlook, and Word) and Tableau and SQL.
  • Knowledge of RBC IT project forecasting, development delivery, system maintenance and IT tracking tools (MIS, Plan view, KPI metrics).
  • Excellent analytical skills – proven experience conducting data analysis/discovery/aggregation as a foundation to providing meaningful analysis and management reporting to facilitate business decisions at a senior management/executive level.
  • Educational background in Finance/Data Science an asset.
  • Broad systems management experience.
