HEABC leads and supports the strategic planning related to human resources and labour relations on behalf of British Columbia’s publicly funded health employers. HEABC is responsible for negotiating provincial agreements for 138,000 unionized health care employees, including nurses, physician residents, ambulance paramedics, health science professionals, and more.

Reporting to the Executive Director, Nursing, Allied and Associated Programs, the Manager, Nursing Sourcing and Intake demonstrates competencies in the areas of partner relations, recruitment, program delivery and reporting, communications, team leadership, and complex problem solving. The Manager plays a leadership role within Health Match BC and works alongside our provincial recruitment partners in the development and implementation of international sourcing activities.
The Manager establishes and maintains relationships with, and between, key partners, including government, health authorities, regulatory bodies, professional associations and community partners. In consultation with the Executive Director, develops and executes annual, monthly, and daily work plans for Health Match BC nursing staff.
University degree in human resources, business administration, life sciences or a related field and a minimum of seven (7) years’ recent experience in the health care sector, providing expertise in recruitment strategies, process improvement, and project management with a minimum of two (2) years of recent experience in a leadership role; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Salary Range: $90,770 to $119,135
Typical Hiring Range: $90,770 to $113,462
In determining salary, HEABC considers many factors including the successful candidate’s skillset and experience as well as internal equity. The final salary offer will be at HEABC’s sole discretion and presented as part of a competitive total compensation package.
