Job summary

Jobtailor in Calgary, Canada seeks an experienced Modern Workplace Consultant to drive pre-sales activities, workshops, and strategic roadmaps for Microsoft 365 and related tools. Responsibilities

• Participate in pre-sales activities, including demos, presentations, statements of work, pricing, proposals, and RFP responses.
• Assist in developing and implementing new service offerings.
• Run client workshops and document requirements for modern workplace solutions.
• Manage multiple engagements against budget, timeline, and scope.
• Develop modern workplace strategies and client roadmaps.
• Lead marketing and sales campaigns to generate leads.
• Liaise with Microsoft and other ISV partners.
• Evangelize Microsoft Copilot for M365, Microsoft 365, Viva, and other products.
• Contribute to the strategic direction of the Modern Workplace practice.
• Guide resolution of customer satisfaction concerns.
• Build deeper client relationships and expand engagement footprints.
• Create end-user documentation and provide training on Microsoft 365.
• Lead and manage engagement teams and mentor team members.
• Ensure skills and capacity to deliver services.
• Develop team objectives aligned with company values.
• Interview and hire new talent as the team grows.

Job description

• Participate in pre-sales activities, including demos, presentations, statements of work, pricing, proposals, and RFP responses


• Assist in developing and implementing new service offerings


• Run client workshops and gather and document requirements for modern workplace, content/document management, and collaboration solutions


• Manage multiple engagements against budget, timeline, and scope


• Develop modern workplace strategies and client roadmaps

• Liaise with Microsoft and other ISV partners


• Evangelize Microsoft Copilot for M365, Microsoft 365, Viva, and other Microsoft products internally and with clients

• Act as a customer escalation contact and guide resolution of customer satisfaction concerns


• Build deeper client relationships and expand engagement footprints


• Create end-user documentation and provide training on Microsoft 365 and other applications

• Ensure support professionals have the skills, experience, and capacity to deliver services

Requirements

• Experience leading or managing teams and coaching/mentoring team members


• Experience leading pre-sales meetings and activities, including demos, presentations, statements of work, proposals, and RFP responses


• Experience with change management and adoption frameworks


• Experience creating end-user documentation and providing training on Microsoft services


• Ability to perform project management and business analysis


• Understanding of GenAI, Agentic AI, document management, unstructured data, employee experience, knowledge management, and information management


• Previous consulting firm experience would be an asset


• Excellent multitasking and time management


• Strategic planning and management expertise
