Under the leadership of the Director of Sales and Marketing, this role promotes on-brand messaging to customers through traditional, digital, and social media channels all with the goal of enhancing the image of the hotel. This role helps build direct marketing plans, targeted campaigns, and activated channels to the end of driving consumer awareness and preference, increasing market share, and building broader portfolio and brand awareness.This job description is not intended and should not be construed to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, or skills required or associated with the job. Job descriptions are subject to change.The duties of the Marketing Manager are, but are not limited, to the following.*RESPONSIBILITIES:**Sales & Marketing Activities*1. Drive website traffic and digital room reservations2. Website optimization ? liaise with brand digital services3. Search engine optimization and google analytics4. Evaluation of campaigns and digital performance5. Analyze and make recommendations for website enhancements6. Analyze and make recommendations for future campaigns7. Main point of contact for brand?s Digital Services for Website Optimization for website updates8. Execute content updates on websites as required, include 3rd party travel sites9. Measure and report on success of digital marketing campaigns and performances10. Stay up to date on trends and make recommendations11. Lead, own and direct asset development inclusive of hotel collateral12. Coordinate photo shoots (sourcing, planning, on-site executions, post-editing and distribution)13. Brand liaison, verification of all marketing materials within the hotel reflect and comply with brand standards14. Identify opportunities to generate revenues such as new stay packages15. Create and maintain social media messages and campaigns16. Create sales materials such as vouchers, corporate rate flyers, etc*Food & Beverage Activities*17. Advertise for weekly specials with photos and website and social media updates18. Advertise for special events with photos and website and social media updates19. Assist Executive Chef with plating photos for kitchen brigade20. Design and print cards, vouchers, flyers as may be required21. Provide guidance to F&B team with content creation22. Train F&B on how to upload photos onto 3rd party website23.
