  • Evaluate LMT effectiveness, customer treatment outcomes, roll-rate performance, delinquency migration, loss mitigation benefits, and post-treatment results using historical cohorts and forward-looking indicators.
  • Identify emerging risks, portfolio trends, and threshold breaches, and prepare clear root-cause assessments and recommendations for management and governance forums.
  • Modernize analytics, reporting and decision support
  • Develop automated, self-service Power BI reporting solutions that improve transparency, enable drill-down analysis, reduce manual effort, and support timely decision-making across Collections Strategy, Operations, Risk, and senior leadership.
  • Leverage SAS, SQL, Python, Power BI, and related analytical tools to automate recurring processes, strengthen data controls, enhance segmentation, and translate complex data into actionable recommendations.
  • Conduct targeted analyses to explain performance drivers, identify improvement opportunities, and support management decisions.
  • Strengthen governance, controls and delivery
  • Partner with Collections Operations, Risk, Product, Technology, Fraud, and Governance teams to implement LMT strategies, assess credit risk implications, and align delivery with business and control requirements.
  • Support platform, data, and process changes, including TSYS migration, Project ALMA, CAMS, and post-migration reporting enhancements, through validation, testing, documentation, and issue resolution.
  • Apply the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture in day-to-day activities, decisions, and recommendations.
  • Promote effective and efficient operations in line with Scotiabank’s Values, Code of Conduct, and Global Sales Principles, while maintaining strong operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions, and conduct risk controls.
  • Contribute to a high-performance and inclusive work environment.
  • Identify opportunities to improve analytical rigor, productivity, and scalability.

  • Experience with Angoss Knowledge Seeker and/or SAS Viya is preferred.

  • Project management, leadership, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage priorities, deadlines, stakeholder expectations, and multiple initiatives effectively.
  • Experience using credit risk scores and applying them to strategy design and performance monitoring.
  • Results-driven mindset, strong curiosity, and the ability to analyze details without losing sight of the broader business context.
