What is the opportunity?

Global IT Risk (GITR) enables the protection of RBC's brand, systems, and operations by providing insights, guidance, and advice on Technology & Cyber Risks. The Risk & Control Assessment function within GITR is responsible for identifying and assessing technology risks and the effectiveness of controls. We are seeking a Manager to support the execution of Technology Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA), working closely with stakeholders to ensure successful risk assessments across technology segments and processes.

What will you do?

• Execute risk and control assessments according to standards.
• Collaborate with Global IT Risk teams and risk management stakeholders.
• Track and monitor actions for identified issues.
• Escalate critical issues and delays to Senior Managers.
• Maintain documentation supporting governance.
• Analyze changes in the business environment to identify potential risk impacts.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

• Operational risk management experience and risk assessment procedure knowledge.
• Familiarity with risk and control assessment processes.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to produce high-quality structured documentation.
• Knowledge of collaboration tools like JIRA and Confluence.

• Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing escalations.
