Contribute to the success of the Emerging Risk & Cyber Security Audit by executing and delivering specific goals, plans, and initiatives aligned with the team's business strategies. Ensure all activities comply with regulations, policies, and procedures. As an Audit Manager, participate in risk-based technology audits across Digital Banking, Cloud, and Architecture to evaluate control effectiveness. Be knowledgeable about risks related to systems development (Waterfall and Agile), cyber security, automation, orchestration, and outsourced IT services.
Assess design and operational effectiveness of governance and controls related to digital banking, cloud services, cyber security, data management, outsourcing, infrastructure, and project management. Apply risk-based auditing standards, practices, techniques, and regulatory guidelines. Provide assurance over cyber security and IT controls in an Agile environment, including SecDevOps, microservices, and third-party outsourcing.
Execute complex IT audits, analyze evidence, and ensure clear, supported audit reports. Maintain regular communication with audit management and clients, providing updates and discussing findings. Build and maintain positive relationships with clients. Stay current with industry developments through ongoing professional development. Promote a customer-focused culture and consider the bank's risk appetite in daily activities.
3-5 years in IT, information security, cyber security, IT risk, or related fields. Strong knowledge of digital banking, cloud engineering, IT, and cyber security. Excellent communication skills. Familiarity with security assessment tools is a plus. Ability to work independently and in teams. Knowledge of retail banking is advantageous.
Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, or equivalent. Certifications such as CISA, CISM, CRISC, CRMA, CCSP, or working towards them are preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
