Reporting to the Secretary‑Treasurer/CFO or designate, the Manager, Information Governance & Privacy is the district’s subject matter expert in records management, information governance, access to information, and the protection of privacy. This position oversees the district’s Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIPPA) program, records management services, and related compliance activities. The Manager leads modernization initiatives, ensures adherence to legislative requirements, and supports schools and departments in managing information responsibly and securely. This role is responsible for the daily operations, strategic development, and long‑term planning of records management, privacy, and information access across the school district.
The recruiting salary range for this role is $93,299 to $116,623. When determining salary, years of education and experience will be considered. Further details would be discussed in a personal interview. New Westminster Schools also offers a competitive benefits package and pension.
