Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze transactional data to ensure mitigation of indirect tax risk
  • Prepare indirect tax returns for US and international entities
  • Review indirect tax returns for Canada and respond to government notices
  • Prepare indirect tax account reconciliations and journal entries
  • Manage election form process for Canada
  • Support internal and external stakeholders with indirect tax issues (e.g. invoice processing, billing)
  • Supervise one senior analyst

Qualifications:

  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel: superior skills required) and SAP
  • Strong accounting acumen with business or equivalent University degree with a concentration in accounting
  • CPA/accounting designation
  • 5+ years of industry or accounting firm indirect tax experience
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-focused and results-oriented environment
