Job description

This position is fully accountable for the profitable operation of a Firehouse Subs Restaurant while adhering to all company guidelines and regulations.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  1. Ensure the restaurant complies with all local, state, and federal regulations, including health, hour and wage, age restrictions, fair employment practices, ADA, OSHA, and other applicable laws.
  2. Ensure knowledge, adherence, and enforcement of all Firehouse Subs Policies and Procedures.
  3. Provide leadership to the restaurant team to consistently meet standards of guest service, quality, and cleanliness, fostering a cheerful and fun work environment aligned with Firehouse Subs' culture, beliefs, and values.
  4. Ensure the profitability of the business by managing food costs, labor, utilities, controllables, and sales growth within established guidelines.
  5. Coordinate and implement current operations game plans and company initiatives profitably and promptly.
  6. Ensure proper staffing with qualified personnel who are trained and developed appropriately.
  7. Oversee the continuous training and development of the Assistant Manager and Shift Managers.
  8. Participate actively in local restaurant marketing efforts within the trade area.
  9. Implement and promote all Public Safety Foundation initiatives.
  10. Ensure all required programs, reports, and legal documents are accurate, complete, and submitted on schedule.
  11. Maintain awareness and participation in community affairs to leverage sales and public relations opportunities.
  12. Represent Firehouse Subs professionally and positively at all times.
  13. Communicate effectively with the GM/Owner regarding any issues impacting the business.
  14. Maintain restaurant equipment in full working order and report issues immediately to the Owner.
  15. Be able to work on their feet for up to 13 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.
  16. Perform any other duties assigned by the Owner.
