RONA is seeking a Global Sourcing Manager who will develop and execute global sourcing strategies for hard goods, imported products and private brand initiatives. The role will support RONA's ability to secure high-quality products, competitive total landed costs, innovation, speed to market, reliable supply and responsible sourcing across multiple international markets.
Reporting to the Director, Global Sourcing, this person will work closely with Merchandising, Category Management, Private Brand, Product Development, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, Finance, Legal, Marketing and other business partners to align sourcing initiatives with RONA's commercial and financial objectives, customer needs and operational requirements.
The incumbent will act as the commercial lead for assigned sourcing portfolios, regions, suppliers and projects. In partnership with Category Management, Private Brand and other business functions, they will lead and coordinate key elements of the end-to-end strategic sourcing process, from supply-market intelligence and supplier identification through competitive bidding, negotiation, business-case approval, contracting, supplier onboarding, product commercialization and post-launch performance. Success requires strong business acumen, sourcing expertise, analytical rigor, cross-cultural influence, sound judgement and the ability to deliver measurable results in a complex retail environment.
