Job summary

BDO Canada LLP is seeking a Manager to join our Financial Reporting & Insights team. This role focuses on high-quality accounting, compilations, and tax compliance for privately held businesses.

You will lead engagements, provide technical guidance, manage timelines and budgets, and build strong client relationships while leveraging Caseware, Sage, QuickBooks, and Excel to drive efficiency and quality.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a Manager role within public accounting.
  • Strong experience in compilation engagements and financial reporting for private enterprises.
  • Experience preparing or reviewing corporate and personal tax returns is required.
  • Proficiency with Caseware, Sage, QuickBooks, and Excel; leveraging technology to streamline work is an asset.

Your Opportunity BDO Canada is seeking a Manager to join our Financial Reporting & Insights (FR&I) team. This group provides high-quality accounting and financial reporting services for privately held businesses, including compilations, financial statements, and corporate and personal tax compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee financial reporting and compilation engagements, ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality deliverables.

Your Experience and Education

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a Manager role within public accounting, focused on compilations and tax compliance. Strong experience in compilation engagements and financial reporting for private enterprises. Experience preparing or reviewing corporate and personal tax returns is required. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, client‑focused environment. Proficiency with Caseware, Sage, QuickBooks, and Excel; experience leveraging technology to streamline work is an asset.
