Our Client: Is a leading global investment firm

Position Title: Manager, Finance

The successful candidate will report to the VP, Finance as part of the Corporate team in Downtown Toronto. Please note, this is a five-day in-office role.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead monthly and quarterly close cycles and drive efficiency improvements
2. Review daily journal entries, period‑end accruals, and ensure accuracy of the loan database
3. Oversee shared‑services functions: accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, expense reimbursements, and HST filings
4. Execute complex technical accounting transactions in coordination with other business units
5. Consolidate and summarize financial results for statutory entities for internal management and regulatory reporting
6. Collaborate with business groups on finance inquiries and support internal/external audits
7. Identify, propose, and implement process, tool, and report enhancements
8. Lead special projects as assigned
9. Mentor, train, and develop a team of senior/corporate accountants and interns

Qualifications:

• 4 to 6 years of progressive accounting or auditing experience (ideally 2+ years in industry)
• Experience with public company IFRS reporting requirements
• Advanced Excel skills and strong financial systems experience (Microsoft Dynamics an asset)
• Excellent verbal and written communication, leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Self‑motivated, proactive, and adaptable to changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment
