Reporting to: Director, Brand Marketing

As Canada’s leading clothing retailer of high-end men’s wear based in Toronto and operating in major centres across Canada, an exciting and challenging opportunity exists in the Marketing Department. In this role, the successful candidate will play a key part indriving brand visibility through impactful events and PR initiatives that engage clients and support business goals. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and exposure in a well-established organization.

Our Marketing Department is a highly talented team of collaborative and visionary individuals that keep Harry Rosen Inc. competitive within the retail industry. If you have a strong interest in retail, marketing, and fashion – this is an ideal role for you.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

Events:

  • Lead the planning and execution of events across the country, including store openings, trunk shows, brand activations, and client appreciation experiences.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure events support key campaigns and reflect Harry Rosen’s commitment to exceptional service and quality.
  • Develop event playbooks and toolkits to empower store teams and regional managers to deliver on-brand experiences locally.
  • Oversee vendor management, production logistics, and timelines to ensure flawless execution.
  • Establish guidelines for event-related content capture to increase visibility across brand and social channels.
  • Manage PR & event budgets, track performance metrics, and report on ROI to drive continuous improvement.

Public Relations:

  • Drive the execution of a national PR strategy in partnership with our agency to amplify brand visibility, seasonal campaigns, and leadership presence.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key media nationally.
  • Ensure consistency across all external communications and media-facing materials in support of Harry Rosen’s positioning.
  • Stay ahead of emerging PR and event trends and bring forward innovative ideas to elevate brand presence.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3–8 years of experience in PR, events, or brand marketing, ideally within the retail or fashion industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in public relations, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Understanding of the Canadian media landscape and PR best practices.
  • Excellent project management skills, with a sharp eye for detail and a commitment to quality execution.
  • Strong communication skills—written, verbal, and interpersonal.
  • Passion for brand storytelling and delivering elevated customer experiences.
  • A collaborative team player with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
