Job summary

The University of Alberta's Office of the Registrar is seeking a strategic, solutions-oriented Manager, Enrolment Systems & Planning for a full-time, two-year temporary position. Hybrid role with remote and in-person work; work primarily at North Campus, Edmonton.

You will lead a team of 8-10 Functional Analysts, analyze business needs, design improvements, coordinate system implementations, and maintain vendor relationships; advise leaders and partners across campus.

Responsibilities

The Office of the Registrar at the University of Alberta is seeking a strategic, solutions-oriented Manager, Enrolment Systems & Planning for a full-time, two-year temporary position. This role bridges the gap between technical infrastructure and higher education business operations The Manager will lead a team of 8-10 Functional Analysts, guiding cyclical operational activities, system and process implementations, enhancements, and upgrades.

In this role, you will serve as a key advisor to leaders in the Deputy Provost (Students and Enrolment) and partners across campus. You will analyze business needs, mitigate risks, and design continuous improvement strategies to streamline student administration services. Additionally, you will build and sustain high-performing cross-functional support models and maintain key external vendor and service-provider relationships.

This role requires a systems thinker with exceptional leadership and communication skills and a demonstrated ability to foster collaboration, coach talent, and navigate dynamic stakeholder priorities across campus.
