Job summary

Cella by Randstad Digital is partnering with a premier North American manufacturer to recruit a Digital Experience Manager for its Etobicoke, Ontario corporate marketing team. You will own the digital ecosystem, drive strategy, and partner with agencies to unify homeowner, installer, and trade websites into a cohesive experience.

You will lead a small internal team and external partners, champion accessibility and CRO, and shape the governance of web platforms while delivering measurable

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in website management, digital experience, digital marketing, or a related role.
• Demonstrated experience guiding direct reports, cross-functional project teams, or specialized external digital agencies.
• Background managing multi-site web environments (ideally utilizing WordPress) and collaborating on enterprise technical integrations.
• Strong understanding of UX/UI principles, accessibility guidelines, user journey mapping, and conversion optimization practices.
• Solid grasp of organic search fundamentals, technical SEO, and modern strategies for emerging AI-powered search engines.
• Hands-on familiarity with digital analytics platforms (such as Google Analytics and Looker Studio) to extract actionable behavioral insights.
• A proactive, hands-on leadership approach with a willingness to roll up your sleeves, problem-solve operational challenges, and partner across various business units.

Responsibilities

• Digital Vision & Strategic Roadmap: Define, champion, and execute the comprehensive website roadmap, aligning user experience, technical architecture, and content performance with core organizational and commercial growth goals.
• Platform Integration & Evolution: Co-lead the flagship initiative to unify separate audience-facing websites (homeowner, installer, and trade dealer) into an intuitive, cohesive digital destination.
• Team & Agency Leadership: Mentor and guide direct reports (UX/UI Design and Web Development & Analytics) while managing day-to-day deliverables, scope, and accountability for specialized web development and SEO agency partners.
• User Experience & Conversion Optimization: Champion user journey mapping, accessibility compliance (AODA/WCAG), heatmapping, usability testing, and conversion rate optimization (CRO) to maximize digital engagement and inbound qualified leads.
• Next-Generation Organic Search: Steer comprehensive search visibility strategies across technical SEO, content structuring, and emerging search landscapes, including Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and AI-assisted answer engines (AEO).
• Website Operations & Technical Governance: Maintain operational excellence across site speed, platform stability, security, CMS governance, and infrastructure integrations connecting digital assets with enterprise data systems.
• Analytics & Performance Measurement: Translate complex customer behavior data, search metrics, and conversion funnels into executive-level dashboards and actionable recommendations that drive technical and content priorities.

In this pivotal role, you will take full ownership of a high-impact digital ecosystem that attracts millions of annual visits across both consumer and commercial audiences. Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing Services, you will set the multi-year digital vision and lead critical, high‑visibility initiatives—including the strategic integration of residential homeowner and commercial trade web platforms into a unified, best-in‑class customer experience. You will provide strategic leadership to an internal team (UX Designer and Web Development & Analytics Lead) while actively directing external agency partners across web development and search optimization.

This role operates on a hybrid schedule out of the corporate office in Etobicoke, requiring three days on‑site per week (Tuesdays and Wednesdays serve as collaborative anchor days, with one flexible in‑office day) and two days remote.
