Job DescriptionReporting to the Director, Data and Reporting, the full-time, permanent Manager, Data Operations is accountable for the development of technology and processes for CAMH data and reporting architecture, including the Enterprise Data Warehouse, Research Data Warehouse, Machine Learning Operations infrastructure and Visualization/Dashboard systems, as well as integration between these technologies and other related reporting applications.In this capacity, the Manager Data Operations leads a dedicated team of designated ETL Developers and OLAP developers in the designing, modeling, developing and implementing data warehouses using tools like Snowflake .The Manager Data Operations is also accountable for the maintenance and enhancement of HSP360 Data Warehouse Model, in collaboration with Business Stakeholders.

The managerial accountabilities of this position include leading, managing, monitoring and evaluating ETL and OLAP developer performance; assigning work and managing the technical team; mentoring, coaching, and training direct reports, team development; fostering a healthy work environment model and promoting CAMH values. In this role you will be responsible for providing leadership; managing human resources, including recruitment and performance management. You will be responsible for providing leadership in team planning, development, implementation, and evaluation. You will support a healthy workplace that embraces diversity, encourages teamwork and complies with all applicable and regulatory requirements. This position is based at 1001 Queen Street West.
Qualifications
You will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree/experience. You will have 5+ years of experience with Data Warehousing, demonstrated experience leading Data Warehousing Development resources / teams, demonstrated experience leading all technical aspects of Data Warehousing Solutions, online analytical processing (OLAP), ability to work jointly with the business users to understand operational/client business processes and analytical reporting needs, proven trouble shooting/debugging skills with ability to isolate/resolve problems, good working knowledge of a variety of Data Warehouse development methodologies.
