Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Analytics Manager to lead the completion and optimization of our data warehouse at Sectigo. This is a global role that will oversee data integration, transformation, and visualization efforts to drive business insights and improve decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data architecture, business intelligence, and analytics platforms. Additionally, this position will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of data professionals to ensure the successful execution of data initiatives.

This is a full-time position working in a hybrid model with at least 3 days a week from our Ottawa office, reporting to our Chief Information Officer.

Core Responsibilities
  1. Lead the design, development, and completion of the company’s data warehouse utilizing Snowflake, FiveTran, and Sigma Computing.
  2. Oversee ETL/ELT processes and ensure seamless data integration across multiple sources.
  3. Manage and mentor a global team of data engineers and analysts, providing guidance, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities.
  4. Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to define data models, pipelines, and reporting structures.
  5. Implement and operationalize AI-driven data processing and analytics techniques to create predictive models supporting business forecasting and decision-making.
  6. Optimize data storage, processing, and query performance within Snowflake for efficient analytics operations.
  7. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security while adhering to compliance and governance standards.
  8. Develop and implement data visualization strategies using Sigma Computing to provide actionable insights.
  9. Work closely with IT and business teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  10. Maintain documentation for data architecture, processes, and best practices.
  11. Manage operational aspects of the data warehouse, including monitoring data loads, troubleshooting failures, and system optimization.
  12. Ensure data warehouse uptime, reliability, and scalability to support business needs.
  13. Implement and maintain data governance policies and access controls to protect sensitive information.
  14. Provide support and training to end users on data access, reporting tools, and analytics best practices.
  15. Ensure compliance with GDPR, CCPA, ISO 27001, WebTrust, and other data regulations.
  16. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is strongly recommended.

Experience: Minimum 5+ years in data analytics, business intelligence, AI, or data engineering roles. Minimum 2+ years leading a data team.

Travel: Up to 25% domestic and/or international travel required.

Desired Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven expertise with Snowflake for data warehousing and performance optimization.
  • Strong knowledge of FiveTran for data ingestion and ETL/ELT workflows.
  • Experience with Sigma Computing or similar BI platforms for reporting.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other scripting languages.
  • Experience with CI/CD processes in a data warehouse environment using Github.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, normalization, and transformation techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
