Aviva Canada is seeking a Manager, Data Analysis and Reporting in Markham to lead the development of actionable insights and dashboards that improve Commercial Insurance performance. You will guide data collection, governance, and interpretation to support strategic decision-making.

You will collaborate with actuarial, pricing, analytics, underwriting, IT, and business partners to drive performance improvements, while mentoring team members in analytics and reporting best practices.

Qualifications

• University degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics or related field.
• 5+ years in BI or data analytics and reporting roles.
• Experience with SAS, Python, MS Access and BI tools; Commercial Insurance experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality analytics and dashboards to improve Commercial Insurance performance.
• Lead data collection, integration, analysis, and interpretation of data for actionable insights.
• Develop and deliver dashboards, reports, and performance metrics for decision making.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to define analytics roadmaps and BI initiatives.
• Engage with actuarial, pricing, analytics, underwriting, operations, IT, finance and others to drive improvement.
