The Manager of Customer Strategy, Solutions, and Pricing develops revenue-optimizing strategies for the Retail Mass Market portfolio. This role ensures the profitability of the Easymax portfolio, overseeing pricing, acquisition targeting strategy, customer base management, retention initiatives, and market trend monitoring.
This position plays a key role in aligning and executing product and customer management initiatives, coordinating efforts between Digital, Customer Care, Marketing, and Project Delivery teams for cohesive go-to-market strategies.
Major Responsibilities
- Manage the long-term health of ENMAX Energy’s revenue and product portfolio in the Competitive Mass Market. Lead strategies for rate changes, new products, and services benefiting the market.
- Identify and champion opportunities to increase profitability, contribute to growth, improve operational efficiencies, and enhance ENMAX Energy’s value proposition.
- Leverage cross-functional expertise to develop solutions, gain insights, and secure buy-in.
- Collaborate with Retail Analytics and other stakeholders on commodity pricing and customer management strategies. Provide assumptions for financial modeling and communicate strategies clearly to ensure alignment.
- Coordinate between Project Delivery, Digital, Customer Care, and Marketing to ensure effective go-to-market strategies. Lead cross-functional groups to improve policies, processes, and systems impacting customer experience and business objectives.
- Lead a team of specialists to develop solutions, solve customer challenges, assess product-market fit, and evaluate profitability. Identify technology opportunities to better understand customer needs and improve interactions.
- Work with Marketing to align advertising and market activities with business goals. Partner with Retail Analytics to monitor product performance and adjust strategies as needed.
- Promote a culture of innovation, clear communication, and alignment across teams.
- Retain and develop a skilled Customer Strategy team through coaching, training, and performance management.
Education Required
- University degree in Marketing, Communications, Commerce, or related field.
Qualifications & Experience
- 10 years in customer management, retention, or P&L ownership, preferably in retail energy.
- Strong knowledge of Alberta electricity and gas markets.
- Experience in product management, sales, and innovation initiatives.
- Financial modeling and business case development skills.
- Understanding of project delivery phases.
- Ability to build relationships with various teams and stakeholders.
- Leadership experience with direct reports.

Work Location
