Working closely with the PPMO and Risk Management, the Manager ensures Corporate Plan priorities move into delivery with clearly defined ownership, scope and intended benefits, and that organizational risks are considered in the assessment and prioritization of corporate demands.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Running the annual corporate planning cycle to the published roadmap calendar, including cycle kick-off, demand scoring, review of the consolidated scoring, and sequencing of the recommended plan through the required governance tables for review and approval

  • Facilitates cross-divisional planning sessions to develop the Corporate Plan, including gap analysis, defining measures, assigning owners, and scoring and prioritizing demands
  • This role provides people leadership to a team through recruitment, onboarding, coaching, performance management, and professional development. The successful candidate will foster a collaborative and positive team culture, provide regular feedback and guidance, support employee growth and engagement, and ensure work is effectively prioritized and delivered to achieve departmental goals.

  • Minimum of 7 years’ direct and progressive experience in corporate or strategic planning, portfolio management, business architecture or a related area, including at least 3 years of people leadership experience
  • Direct experience leading corporate planning, strategic planning or organizational prioritization cycles, including translating strategic priorities into actionable corporate and departmental plans
  • Direct experience preparing and consolidating complex planning information, analysis and recommendations for senior leaders, executive teams or governance bodies
  • Direct experience facilitating planning and prioritization discussions, assessing competing organizational priorities, and developing clear, evidence-based recommendations
  • To reduce barriers to the application process, we welcome a combination of transferable skills, knowledge, lived experience and comparable qualifications for consideration
  • A relevant professional designation in project or portfolio management, strategic planning or business architecture is an asset
