Classification/Salary: Financial Officer R27 - Starts at $48.25 per hour plus a 8.0% market adjustment

Location: Vancouver Head Office (Hybrid - 2 days in office upon completion of a 6-month probation)

As the Financial Reporting Specialist, you play a pivotal role in ensuring that the Accounting Services team meets the full scope of its responsibilities. You will apply sound financial judgement and adopt a flexible approach in providing consultative support to leaders across organizational divisions. Under the direction of the Manager, Financial Reporting, you will be responsible for complex analysis of accounts, preparing reports for management, cash management, accurate financial record keeping and reporting, and providing sound advice and recommendations.
As a standout candidate, you are a detail-oriented professional who brings strong communication skills and a solid foundation in accounting and mathematics. You should be comfortable working with computerized systems and related tools, and be able to analyze, interpret, and organize information efficiently. The ideal candidate works independently while keeping leadership informed, manages changing priorities and tight deadlines with confidence, and builds positive, cooperative relationships across teams. A high degree of tact, sound judgment, and the ability to plan and organize your workload effectively are essential for success in this role.
