Position Overview

This role reports to the Senior Director, Contracts, and is based near Halifax International Airport.

What You Will Do

1. Manage the entire contract lifecycle: drafting, negotiation, review, approval, execution, and renewal.
2. Review and analyze contract terms for compliance with legal, regulatory, and company policies.
3. Monitor contract performance and compliance.
4. Coordinate with internal departments to ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
5. Act as the primary contact for communications with external customers.
6. Negotiate new and renewal contracts, as well as contract modifications.
7. Collaborate with Legal Counsel on contractual documents and legal agreements.
8. Attend contract review meetings and prepare performance reports.
9. Provide financial data to support contractual activities and forecasts.
10. Manage relationships with subcontractors.
11. Supervise Contract Administrators.
12. Maintain an accessible and accurate contractual document repository.
13. Support capture and bid management efforts.
14. Oversee customer billing processes.
15. Ensure compliance with Export Control, ITAR, and Controlled Goods Regulations.

What You Will Bring

1. Over 5 years of industry experience in contract management.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Business Administration.
3. Experience with government contracts analysis and billing is preferred.
4. Proficiency in MS Office, especially advanced Excel skills.
5. Strong organizational and communication skills.
6. Problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
7. Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
8. Commitment to health, safety, and environmental policies.
9. Eligibility for Canadian Controlled Goods Program, U.S. ITAR, and Canadian security clearances.
