A leading company in Canada is seeking a Contracts Manager to oversee contracting and subcontracting functions, ensuring compliance with Canadian government regulations and managing vendor relationships. This pivotal role involves the full contract lifecycle from drafting to execution, offering a competitive salary and the opportunity to support operational readiness.
The Contracts Manager will lead Fleetway’s contracting and subcontracting functions, playing a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with Canadian government contracting regulations and supporting operational readiness through strategic vendor and subcontractor management. This role oversees the full contract lifecycle—from drafting and negotiation to execution and close-out—ensuring alignment with company objectives and client expectations.
As the primary liaison with our parent company’s legal and finance departments, the Contracts Manager will provide expert guidance on contract terms, obligations, and risk mitigation. Key responsibilities include managing subcontracts, monitoring vendor performance, and approving Statements of Work (SOWs) and purchase orders. Additionally, this role will support surge capacity by identifying and managing temporary labour firms and subcontracting agencies.
QualificationsEducation:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
