Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; 3-5 years in manufacturing or quality.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  1. Ensure Daily Management Rhythm (DMR) compliance by reviewing processes, training plant leadership on DMR elements and lean tools.
  2. Deploy all network lean initiatives and track their effectiveness through KPIs.
  3. Create and drive strategic business solutions to improve SQDCP metrics.
  4. Guide operations leaders through corrective actions to improve performance.
  5. Apply problem-solving tools to analyze SQDCP performance metrics.
  6. Drive and own Kaizen activities in the plant.
  7. Maintain supplier quality relations, review/manage/escalate supplier RCA/Corrective Actions, and support new product introductions at the site.
  8. Support plant-specific and corporate requests by conducting new product introduction pilots.
  9. Create and update Standard Work, and train supervisors and leads on updates.
  10. Manage and coach quality technicians in teardown processes, CTQs, CI processes, and pilots.
  11. Conduct plant audits to standardize processes, eliminate waste, and foster continuous improvement.
Functional/Technical Competencies
  • Strong communication skills, including presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of production-based quality tools (charting, control plans, capability studies, SPC, Error Proofing, etc.).
  • Project management and problem resolution skills.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple projects independently.
  • Adaptability to changing circumstances and effective team building.
  • Engagement and coaching skills for factory floor associates.
  • Knowledge of quality methodologies (8-D, Lean, 5 Why’s, Pareto Analysis, Six Sigma, DFMEA, PFMEA, PPAP, Fishbone).
Experience/Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field/experience.
  • 3-5 years in Manufacturing, Quality, or Operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience facilitating Kaizen events and implementing lean methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Preferred: Certified Six Sigma Black or Green Belt.
Job Factors/Work Environments
  • Manufacturing plant environment.
  • 10-25% travel required.
