Job summary

FCT in Oakville, Ontario is seeking a Manager, Compliance to lead regulatory compliance across the organization, mitigating risks and ensuring operations stay within legal guidelines.

You will champion cross-functional collaboration, develop and maintain compliance programs, and guide staff and leadership on changes in regulations and best practices. This role values governance, accountability, and stakeholder engagement across departments.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of compliance experience in financial services industry or other regulated industry.
  • University degree or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in building and managing robust compliance frameworks, familiarity with regulatory landscape (OSFI, FINTRAC, RPAA, FSRA, FCAC, provincial regulators), and experience of working with diverse group of stakeholders to achieve milestones and deadlines.
  • Experience in change facilitation and re-engineering.
  • Broad business knowledge and experience and understanding of organizational structure.
  • Experienced in managing key external relationships and complex projects.
  • Experience with Boards and Board committees is a plus.

As a Manager, Compliance, you will lead with expertise in regulatory compliance in order to ensure the organization operates within legal frameworks while mitigating potential regulatory or other compliance risks. The successful candidate will play a key role in fostering a culture of compliance and accountability across all departments.

HERE’S HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE:

Total Direct Compensation:

130,100 to 144,640

Any pay range is in $CAD. The stated pay range reflects the total expected compensation for this role (e.g., base pay plus any expected incentives or allowances, where applicable)
