The Manager will use strong communications, content creation and relationship‑management skills to help Nordiq Canada engage and steward the people and organizations who support our mission. This is a hands‑on role suited to an excellent writer and content creator who is equally comfortable developing a communications plan, interviewing an athlete, writing a feature story, preparing a donor update or helping bring an organizational campaign to life.

  • Write and edit high-quality content including feature stories, athlete profiles, announcements, newsletters, web content, key messages and organizational communications.
  • Develop content that translates complex organizational or sport information into clear, engaging and accessible stories.
  • Maintain an organizational editorial and communications calendar.
  • Ensure consistency of voice, messaging and brand across Nordiq Canada communications.
  • Work closely with athletes, coaches and staff to identify storytelling opportunities throughout the year.

  • Manage and maintain website content and organizational communications platforms.
  • Support livestream, event and competition communications as required.
  • Track basic communications and engagement metrics to understand what content is resonating and continuously improve.

External Relations & Donor Stewardship | ~25%

  • Develop regular donor and partner communications that demonstrate the impact of their support.
  • Create stewardship materials including impact updates, donor stories, newsletters, reports and recognition communications.
  • Support the CEO in developing presentations, proposals, cases for support and other donor or partner materials.
  • Help maintain consistent and meaningful communication with key stakeholders throughout the year.
  • Support donor and partner events, recognition opportunities and engagement initiatives.
  • Assist with Champions Circle and other donor‑engagement communications.
  • Maintain appropriate donor and stakeholder communications records and support basic CRM administration.
  • Work with the CEO and other organizational leaders to identify stories that demonstrate the impact and value of investing in Nordiq Canada’s athletes, programs and community.
