The Vancouver Airport Authority is seeking a Manager, Commercial Services to oversee leasing and tenant management within the terminal building. This permanent, full-time role requires strong negotiation skills and a background in property management, with responsibilities including financial analysis and team leadership. The successful candidate will contribute to enhancing YVR’s commercial program, which plays a vital role in airport operations and community support.

Position overview
Are you someone with a strong background in leasing, negotiations and tenant management? Do you have a passion for connecting a brand or concept to a location to optimize commercial spaces? Do you enjoy building strong tenant relationships, and ensuring properties are operating efficiently and profitably? Are you detail-oriented, business-minded, and skilled at balancing the needs of tenants with strategic organizational goals?
We have a permanent, full-time opportunity for a Manager, Commercial Services. Reporting to the Director, Passenger Retail Experience, the successful candidate will help manage the leasing and tenancy management of the commercial program, as well as support long term planning aspects related to the commercial portfolio within the terminal building. Prior to COVID-19, YVR’s commercial program generated around $400M in terms of sales and covered more than 140 concessions in the terminal. Despite this challenging landscape, YVR is looking to strengthen its commercial foundation and plans to reinvigorate and enhance its commercial program by providing an increased range of products, services and introducing new brands and concepts.

Salary Range : $102,880 to $154,320 per annum, based on a 37.5 hour work week. This is individually tailored to reflect your unique experience, qualifications and internal equity. Performance-Based Incentive: Eligible for an annual bonus target at 15% of your annual salary.
