About the role:

We are seeking an Inside Sales Manager to lead our passionate, high-energy, and fast-moving sales team. You will oversee our Account Executives focusing on small to mid-sized organizations, with a proven ability to hire, develop, and lead an inclusive, engaged, high-performing team.

In this role, you will:

  • Coach a team of approximately 8 account executives on sales strategies, pipeline management, and achieving quarterly targets.
  • Hire new account executives and provide onboarding and ongoing coaching for their growth.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to solve problems and manage projects.
  • Create training content for ongoing development.
  • Support account executives with professional development plans.
  • Provide clear, tactical feedback and foster a high-emotional intelligence culture within the team and organization.
  • Embed Samsara’s cultural principles—Customer Success, Building for the Long Term, Growth Mindset, Inclusion, and Teamwork—across our global and new offices.
  • Hire, develop, and lead an inclusive, engaged, high-performing team.

Minimum requirements for the role:

  • 3+ years of sales experience with a proven track record in complex sales from prospecting to close.
  • 1-2+ years of experience managing a team (preferred).
  • Experience in full-cycle sales.
  • Strong record of overachievement and coaching teams on outbound sales.
  • Understanding of complex sales cycles involving multiple decision makers, products, and extended timeframes.
  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable with public speaking.
  • Strong interpersonal and management skills.
  • Self-starter, adaptable to change.
  • Growth mindset and eagerness to learn about the industry.
  • Proficient in data-driven decision making.
  • Ability to provide upward feedback.
  • Familiarity with SFDC.

Annual on-target earnings (OTE) range for this position is below and varies by location: $234,000 CAD.
