Job description

Our team is looking for a B2B media expert with strong capability in planning and buying to join our growing B2B media practice.

About us: dentsu B2B is a specialized, award-winning B2B group within dentsu. We have 20+ years of B2B heritage. You’ll join over 1,000 integrated B2B specialists from across the globe to develop bespoke B2B solutions and partnerships. Our unique point of view on B2B is The Superpowers Index, an annual survey of B2B buyer behavior.

About you: Great campaign execution is your specialty, with creativity mixed in, and you enjoy supporting your team and the client teams. You always look for new ways to innovate media from brand to demand.

We are looking for a self-motivated, highly detail-oriented, and creative thinker — someone proficient in taking a campaign idea through planning, execution, and measurement phases to create memorable and impactful activations. This is a highly collaborative and visible position, so good communication and interpersonal skills are essential. This role reports to the Director of Strategy and Client Leadership.

Your specific, day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Create, manage, execute, and measure media campaigns to achieve a variety of goals, from brand awareness to demand generation.
  • Plan and buy B2B media campaigns across social, search, direct, content syndication, account-based marketing, lead-generation, brand-building, and events.
  • Collaborate with clients and colleagues to create campaigns and/or events that promote services/products.
  • Work with creative teams to develop collateral that complements campaigns.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Perform additional functions and administrative tasks as required for media activation.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of B2B media planning experience, ideally in a client service setting.
  • Bachelor’s degree, college diploma, or equivalent experience.
  • Creative thinking applied to B2B media activation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize projects and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and levels.
  • Understanding of the Canadian market, including key demographics and media landscape.
  • Experience working with large enterprises on B2B marketing functions, including media planning, Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), user experience analysis, and lead cycle management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com, Google Analytics, marketing automation tools.
  • Full-funnel media planning experience, including content syndication, sponsorships, nurture campaigns, video, audio, social, search, and experience with DemandBase, 6Sense, or similar platforms.

Additional information:

The salary range for this position is $75k-$80k, based on experience, knowledge, and skills. Benefits include medical, dental, RRSP, paid time off, and others.
