Job summary

O'Dell HVAC Group is seeking a Manager of Business Intelligence & CRM to lead our BI reporting and CRM administration. You will develop scalable reporting solutions, govern data standards, and drive CRM adoption across Canada.

This role requires hands-on technical expertise plus collaboration with leadership to enable data-driven decisions. You will oversee data integration from multiple systems, build data models, and establish governance practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience in BI, data analytics, CRM administration, or business systems management.
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Power Query, SQL, DAX, data modelling, data warehousing, ELT and dashboard development.
• Experience administering, configuring, and optimizing CRM platforms and data management.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain O'Dell's Power BI reporting environment, including dashboards, scorecards, and management reports.
• Establish standardized KPIs, reporting methodologies, and data definitions across departments.
• Integrate data from NetSuite, CRM, eCommerce, and other systems for accurate reporting.
• Build and maintain data models, datasets, and DAX calculations; manage reporting processes.
• Act as the primary internal administrator and owner of the CRM platform.
• Support CRM implementation, configuration, maintenance, and ongoing enhancements.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience, Service, and others to improve CRM adoption.

We are seeking a Manager, Business Intelligence & CRM to join our team. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Operations and Performance, you will play a key role in developing and managing our business intelligence reporting environment and overseeing the administration and optimization of our company-wide Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with business-focused collaboration to improve data accuracy, streamline reporting, and support informed decision-making across the organization. Working closely with leadership and departments across Canada, you will help establish scalable reporting solutions, strengthen CRM adoption, and identify opportunities for system improvements and automation as O'Dell continues to grow.

What You'll Be Doing

• Develop, implement, and maintain O'Dell's Microsoft Power BI reporting environment, including dashboards, scorecards, and management reports.
• Establish standardized key performance indicators (KPIs), reporting methodologies, and data definitions across departments.
• Integrate data from NetSuite, CRM, eCommerce, and other business systems to deliver accurate and meaningful reporting.
• Build and maintain data models, datasets, Power Query transformations, DAX calculations, and reporting processes.
• Act as the primary internal administrator and system owner of O'Dell's company-wide CRM platform.
• Support CRM implementation, configuration, maintenance, and ongoing system enhancements.
• Manage CRM workflows, pipelines, permissions, dashboards, and customer data standards.
• Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of customer, contact, opportunity, and activity data.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience, Service, and other departments to understand reporting needs and improve CRM utilization.
• Develop system documentation, user guidelines, and training materials to support employee adoption and effective system use.
• Monitor CRM adoption, data quality, and reporting accuracy to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual reporting, automate workflows, and improve operational efficiency.
• Establish and maintain company-wide data governance standards and consistent sources of information.
• Work with IT, business leaders, and external vendors to support system integrations, troubleshooting, and improvements.
• Support the integration and standardization of business data and reporting processes across new locations and acquisitions.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

What You Bring

• Post-secondary education in Business Analytics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, CRM administration, or business systems management.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including Power Query, SQL, DAX, data modelling, data warehousing, ELT and dashboard development.
• Experience administering, configuring, and optimizing CRM platforms, including workflows, permissions, reporting, and data management.
• Strong understanding of data integration, reporting architecture, and data governance principles.
• Experience working with ERP systems; NetSuite experience is considered an asset.
• Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and actionable reporting.
• Experience supporting system implementations, user training, and change management initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends, improve processes, and deliver practical solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to independently manage projects and competing priorities.
• Experience supporting a growing, multi-location organization is considered an asset.
• Familiarity with automation tools, AI-powered analytics, and emerging business technologies is considered an asset.
• Bilingualism in French and English is considered an asset, as this role will support teams across all regions of Canada.
