Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Planning, leading, and managing audit and review engagements
• Analyzing, identifying, and resolving assurance engagement issues
• Supervising junior staff during fieldwork
• Managing engagement financials, including budgets, WIP, variances, and billing
• Providing personal, attentive service to clients to foster productive relationships
• Mentoring, training, and developing junior staff
• Leading practice and professional development initiatives

A successful candidate will have:

• CPA designation or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience with audits and review engagements
• Excellent technical knowledge of GAAP, audit, review procedures, and tax compliance
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams), Caseware/Caseview, TaxPrep, QuickBooks Online, and other tax software
• Strong attention to detail, interpersonal, communication, project management, and organizational skills
• Problem-solving abilities
• Professional manner, strong work ethic, and ability to meet deadlines
• Experience leading and mentoring junior staff
• Ability to develop and maintain client relationships as a trusted advisor
• Business development skills are an asset
