The opportunity

We are seeking a Manager, Data Analytics, Solution Architect. Our IT Advisory Analytics practice works collaboratively with our clients to enhance their ability to use and interpret data, develop their information management capabilities, and support better decision-making and regulatory compliance. Our clients need the vision to see the big picture and the precision to focus on details.

Information and intelligence are key assets, and our Analytics practice provides innovative approaches to unlocking this information, solving major challenges. We aim to integrate this capability into all Advisory services and help clients leverage data as a strategic asset throughout their business processes.

Your Key Responsibilities

As a Manager, Data Analytics, Solution Architect at EY, you will lead projects, build relationships with clients and colleagues, and develop your skills through training and mentorship. We value diverse, high-performing teams from various backgrounds, including industry, consulting, and vendors. If you are new to consultancy, we will support your transition into the team.

With at least 7 years of experience, you will lead the design and implementation of data architectures and solutions aligned with business needs and organizational goals across industries. Your role involves defining data strategies, developing scalable architectures, and delivering innovative solutions to complex business problems, collaborating closely with clients and technical teams.

Skills and attributes for success

• Lead data architecture projects from discovery to deployment, ensuring alignment with client objectives and best practices
• Understand client requirements and develop cloud-based data strategies and roadmaps
• Design and implement scalable data platforms, including warehouses, lakes, and pipelines
• Document data architecture designs, models, and integration patterns, ensuring security and compliance
• Create data models, including dimensional and Data Vault 2.0 approaches
• Mentor project teams and provide technical guidance
• Optimize data environments through tuning and troubleshooting
• Engage with vendors and stay updated on new features and best practices
• Manage client relationships and expectations
• Stay current with emerging data management trends and technologies

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related
• At least 7 years in data architecture, engineering, or database design, preferably in consulting
• 3+ years designing Snowflake architectures and features
• Experience with Data Vault 2.0 and dimensional modeling
• Proficiency in SQL
• Understanding of cloud computing principles and platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Certifications: SnowPro Core, SnowPro Advanced Architect, Data Vault 2.0 (assets)
• Proven project delivery experience and client management skills
• Bilingual in English and French (assets)

Preferred qualifications

• Enterprise data modeling across industries
• Experience with data warehousing tools like WhereScape, Coalesce, VaultSpeed
• Expertise in Snowflake data platforms and Data Vault 2.0 methodologies
• Motivated, proactive, and self-starting attitude
