Job summary

Subway in Ontario, Canada is seeking a Manager to lead daily restaurant operations. You’ll deliver guest experiences, ensure food quality, keep the store clean and functional, and manage inventory and cash controls.

You will recruit and train staff, enforce safety and security, contribute to local marketing, and coordinate promotions. A strong communicator with POS proficiency and the ability to work flexible shifts will thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• 2+ years in a restaurant environment; supervisory/training experience.

PREREQUISITES

Education: High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred

Experience: A minimum of 2 years in a restaurant environment, experience in supervising and training staff.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members. Computer knowledge is essential.

Physical

Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
