Job summary

RONA Laval is seeking an experienced Store Supervisor to lead our department team and ensure exceptional customer service. You will supervise daily operations, manage schedules, recruit staff, and drive merchandising and promotional activities while maintaining budget guidelines.

The ideal candidate has at least five years of personnel management experience in retail, demonstrates strong leadership, autonomy, and the ability to respond quickly to customer needs.

Qualifications

• 5 years experience in personnel management.
• Experience managing a retail business.
• Strong leadership skills, resourceful and autonomous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise work according to set priorities and the company’s requirements.
• Resolve any issue that may arise while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Carry out merchandising duties according to the Store Manager’s directions.
• Supervise the replenishment process.
• Manage promotional activities according to sales, company initiatives.
• Be aware of current trends and competitors to help develop effective marketing strategy.
• Assist in recruiting staff for the department under your responsibility.
• Determine work schedule while complying with the established labour budget and ensuring that customer needs are met.
• Coach, encourage, and motivate teams.
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly.
