Job summary

RONA in Rouyn-Noranda, Canada, seeks a store supervisor with strong leadership and retail management experience to lead a department and drive customer service excellence. The role focuses on supervising priorities, merchandising, and staffing to meet sales targets and store standards.

The ideal candidate has 5 years of personnel management experience, proven ability to manage a retail operation, and autonomous decision-making.

• Manage promotional activities according to sales, company initiatives. Be aware of current trends and competitors to help develop effective marketing strategy.
• Assist in recruiting staff for the department under your responsibility.
• Determine work schedule while complying with the established labour budget and ensuring that customer needs are met.
• Coach, encourage, and motivate teams.
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly.
