Job description

Cascadia Partners is seeking both experienced and entry-level healthcare consultants for our Vancouver and Victoria offices.

About Us

Cascadia Partners is a consulting firm founded by industry veterans focused on creating local impact. We bring specialized expertise across various local industries, fostering a rewarding environment where our work visibly benefits our communities.

Practice Areas

Our work focuses on five areas: Business Strategy, Operations Management, Digital Transformation, Policy & Economics, and Data Analytics & AI. We serve clients in sectors such as Food, Beverages & Retail, Industry Associations, Construction & Real Estate, Public Sector, Transportation & Logistics, and Healthcare. All consultants contribute across these areas, promoting continuous learning.

Healthcare Team

We are looking for experienced consultants to expand our healthcare practice, working with public and private health organizations in BC on solutions including technology and digital transformation, data analytics, strategy (clinical and operational), process optimization, models of care, and system transformation.

Our Work Environment

We value collaboration, curiosity, creativity, and confidence. Our team is high-performing, dedicated, and enjoys a fun, startup-like culture. Our consultants actively participate in firm-building activities such as developing internal systems, business development, and brand awareness.

Role Responsibilities

In small teams, you will identify and articulate client problems and develop innovative solutions to improve performance and achieve client goals. Engagements vary from weeks to months, mostly within BC, with some travel required.

Your responsibilities include:

  1. Delivering high-quality work that exceeds expectations.
  2. Analyzing and synthesizing client information to inform change strategies.
  3. Communicating insights clearly and effectively.
  4. Contributing to business development and firm growth activities.
  5. Collaborating professionally with colleagues and clients.
  6. Providing and receiving feedback to enhance skills and outcomes.
  7. Continuously learning and improving.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Hands-on experience in healthcare system operations, policy, or service delivery, rather than purely research-focused backgrounds.
  • At least 3+ years of consulting experience in healthcare, with direct involvement in operations, policy, or strategy, preferably within BC or Canada.
  • Experience working with healthcare providers, health authorities, or public health organizations.
  • Operational, policy, or technology transformation experience in healthcare.
  • Industry experience in the public sector or healthcare organizations is advantageous.
  • Strong teamwork and inclusive environment creation skills.
  • Effective communication skills across diverse audiences.
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and strategic skills with financial acumen.
  • Self-motivation and ability to navigate ambiguity.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and eagerness to learn.
  • Research, analysis, and report writing skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Advanced degrees are preferred.
  • Legal eligibility to work in Canada.

Your application should include:

  • A cover letter
  • A resume
  • An academic transcript or screenshot of grades for recent graduates
