Job summary

REED is partnering with a growing company in the logistics sector to appoint a Management Accountant who will lead core finance activities and deliver insightful reporting within a rapidly expanding group.

Based in the Lisburn area, this full-time permanent role is office-based, with hybrid work after probation. The ideal candidate is a fully qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) with strong Excel and ERP skills and a hands-on, influential approach.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA or CIMA) with 2+ years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.
• Comfortable with ERP systems and confident in using Excel.
• Hands-on approach with a readiness to take on more responsibilities and make a significant impact.

Responsibilities

• Manage Core Finance Activities: take full responsibility for management accounts, journals, reconciliations and period-end reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain intercompany reconciliations, resolve balance sheet discrepancies and uphold clear, auditable records across a complex group structure.
• Implement new processes using automation and process improvements to drive operational effectiveness.
• Provide strategic insight using understanding of the cold storage and logistics industry to deliver meaningful analysis.
• Build strong partnerships with finance leaders and stakeholders across the group to align processes and reporting.
