Qualifications

• Authorized to work in Canada.
• Valid Manitoba security license.
• First aid certification an asset.
• Proficient in basic phone and computer skills.
• French language skills not mandatory but an asset.
• Proof of PR status or Canadian citizenship required due to reliability clearances.

Responsibilities

• Customer service duties like welcome, verify identity, and guide visitors.
• Manage access control.
• Perform regular interior patrols to ensure site safety and compliance with museum policies.
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams.
• Answer questions in person or by phone.
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns.
• Complete daily activity and incident reports with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Manage crowds, ensuring they remain orderly and safe during events, and exhibitions.
• Operate and monitor security systems, including CCTV cameras.
• Manage entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and granting authorized access.
