Job summary

Everclean is seeking a Housekeeping Attendant to perform daily cleaning and presentation tasks across the shopping centre, focusing on washrooms, common areas, entrances, and public spaces to keep them clean, hygienic, stocked, and safe for customers and tenants.

You will sweep, vacuum, mop, dust, disinfect, restock supplies, and remove waste per contract requirements, report hazards to the Supervisor, and help maintain inventory and WHMIS compliance.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to safely operate housekeeping equipment and supplies.
• Ability to work to a good standard with attention to detail and hygiene.
• Ability to physically perform the duties of the position and stand/walk for prolonged periods.
• Ability to attend work on a regular, ongoing, consistent basis.
• Ability to understand and implement all policies and procedures related to the cleaning work performed, including WHMIS.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions in English.
• Must be able to perform all cleaning tasks.
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, vacuum, mop, dust, disinfect washrooms and common areas.
• Restock supplies and ensure cleanliness throughout the site.
• Report hazards to the Supervisor and maintain safety standards.
• Clean entrance and lobby glass and wipe fixtures.
• Assist with waste management and WHMIS labeling.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies monthly.
