Job summary

Alberta Health Services is seeking a Maintenance Worker I to perform routine maintenance tasks at the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital. You may work independently or as part of a team to maintain grounds, keep facilities clean, and assist tradespeople as needed.

The role is full-time, with dayshift patterns and a 7.75-hour work day. Schedule details include weekdays with Saturdays/Sundays off; there is a facility-based salary range and a driver’s license is required.

• Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent.
• Possession of a valid driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds including lawns, flowerbeds, trees and shrubs.
• Clean and maintain mechanical rooms and shop areas.
• Assist tradespeople and other maintenance staff as needed.
• Perform snow/ice removal and salting where required.
