Position Summary

About Us:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Worker to join our dedicated and supportive team at Overlander Extended Care in Kamloops, BC. Our facility is committed to providing high-quality care, and we need skilled professionals to ensure our infrastructure is maintained to the highest standards.

Your Role:
As a Maintenance Worker V, you will perform trades duties approaching the journeyman level in various areas such as electrical, plumbing, and painting, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and regulations. You will supervise other Maintenance Workers and designated staff, constructing items like walls, doors, floors, ceilings, and windows, as well as designing, constructing, and repairing furniture, cabinets, desks, tables, and shelves. Your duties will also include plastering, painting, and decorating by selecting and applying various paint, plaster, and wall coverings for both minor building renovations and general maintenance.
