Position Summary

Primaris REIT is hiring a dedicated Maintenance Worker to join our team at Stone Road Mall in Guelph, Ontario. If you can diagnose issues, identify solutions, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is an excellent opportunity for you.

Role

Your primary responsibility is to perform daily maintenance and customer service duties to keep the property safe and presentable by :

• Performing property inspections and reporting repairs
• Conducting minor repairs including drywall, painting, landscaping, plumbing, and electrical
• Ensuring safety and responding to tenant concerns
• Maintaining cleanliness and curb appeal
• Collaborating with contractors and stakeholders

Requirements

We seek candidates with a customer-focused attitude and a proactive approach. Attributes include :

• Secondary School Diploma or equivalent; college diploma is a plus
• At least 1 year of relevant experience
• Knowledge of trades or HVAC is advantageous
• Ability to operate power tools and equipment
• Valid Driver’s License
• Basic PC skills
• CPR and First Aid certification is a plus
• Clear and professional communication, active listening
• Positive relationship building and commitment
• Attention to detail and meeting deadlines
• Ownership, receptiveness to feedback
