Job summary

Mississippi River Health Alliance in Canada seeks an experienced Facilities HVAC Technician to maintain building systems and ensure safety and reliability of equipment. You will work with a team to perform preventative maintenance and respond to on-call needs with a quick report-to-site capability.

The role requires Building Environmental Systems Certification or enrollment, 3 years of HVAC maintenance experience, a valid driver's license, and proficiency with building automation controls.

Qualifications

  • Completion or current enrollment in Building Environmental Systems Certification with expected completion within two years.
  • Three (3) years' experience in facility, equipment building systems, plant & HVAC maintenance and preventative maintenance.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Experience with building automation control systems.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Available for on-call with ability to report to the facility within 30 minutes.

Mandatory Requirements
  • All applicants must have successfully completed or be currently enrolled and engaged in the Building Environmental Systems Certification program with an expected successful completion of this program within two years of the start date of this position. Applicants who have completed a similar or equivalent certification may have their credentials reviewed and considered for equivalency.
  • Three (3) years' experience in facility, equipment building systems, plant & HVAC maintenance and preventative maintenance. Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must have computer skills as well as experience with building automation control systems
  • Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • Must be able available for on-call with the ability to report to the facility within 30 minutes
