VF Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the morning shift at the distribution center in Canada. The role involves maintaining automated sorting equipment, conveyors, and building MEP systems, while reading blueprints and performing installation, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
The successful candidate will have 2+ years of related experience, a high school diploma or equivalent with electrical/electronic control training, and the ability to work at heights up to 70
Under the general direction of the Maintenance Leader, this person will perform a variety of general, detailed, and highly technical maintenance and service functions on equipment, systems, and facilities at the distribution center.
Responds to all aspects of maintenance and building service for the Distribution facility. They are required to support with all preventative maintenance and repairs to automated sorting equipment, conveyors, material handling equipment and building MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) systems. They play a key role in helping the operations team optimize operational efficiencies by maximizing equipment uptime.
Uses hand tools, power tools, multi-meters, oscilloscopes, and other monitoring and testing equipment. Follows all company safety, attendance, and security procedures.
Successfully achieves goals of the facility. Perform daily activities of the maintenance team.
$28.00 CAD - $35.00 CAD per hour
This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
